Joe is a graduate of The George Washington University Business School, where he received

his MBA in 1984.

Joe has over 35 years of Real Estate investment experience, including office building expertise with a national real estate firm.  He has also  been a senior executive with several Fortune 500 Companies over the past 20 years, 

Joe's real estate investments  include significant investments in three Houston Shopping Centers, two current commercial projects in Los Angeles; Student Housing in North Carolina, Self Storage in CO and TX and Mixed Use developments in NY, FLA and CT.

With over 30 years of real estate experience, Lawrence is an expert at re-positioning properties to create value.   

Lawrence has been actively involved in the acquisition, development, rehabilitation and management of apartment properties and shopping centers since 1993. He currently manages and owns numerous apartment homes, single family homes in San Diego and eight retail centers in Houston, Dallas, Tyler Texas.  By specializing in the San Diego, Dallas, Tyler and Houston areas, Lawrence has developed a unique understanding and knowledge of these markets.

Advisor-Miami Florida

As an advisor to the general partners of Awen Capital, Norman has over 35 years of experience in residential, commercial & industrial property investment and development in South Africa, Australia, and North America. As the co-managing director of Northwest Estates and the founder and CEO of Northwest Finance & Development Company, Norman completed property transactions and managed assets in excess of 5 million square feet of commercial, retail and residential space and developed several landmark projects in South Africa. During this tenure he also arranged and completed several corporate transactions in South Africa and North America. Norman received his BS degree in finance from the University of Maryland and has served on multiple boards in South Africa and the USA.

Operating Partner-Atlanta

  Jonathan Berzack graduated from Emory University with an MBA specializing in Real Estate and a sub major in Finance. Jonathan’s entry into residential real estate started small by renovating single family homes in Brookhaven, a high-end neighborhood in Atlanta GA. Jonathan then moved on to developing multifamily condominiums and by 2005 had completed 6 highly successful projects; the largest being a 10-story high rise of 125 condominiums overlooking Chastain Park, Atlanta. For the past 15 years Jonathan has personally acquired over 400 single family homes which he has renovated and pooled into a rental portfolio which currently stands at 100% occupied yielding in excess of net 8% per annum

Josh Jacobs graduated from Babson College in Wellesley Mass in 1995 with a BS in Business.  He has been in the commercial real estate business since 1996 specializing in Retail and Land development in Houston Texas.  Josh understands how to improve value of properties through development, redevelopment or repositioning to help bring longevity to the project.
