 Awen Capital's mission is to provide superior returns to our investors by acquiring value add undervalued real estate in four principal markets.-Houston TX, Miami FL, Charlotte, NC and Atlanta GA.

We foster industry-wide business relationships to discover favorable opportunities that meet our strategic investment criteria and leverage operational efficiencies with necessary third parties to conduct cost efficient, secure, and orderly transactions. 

We focus on income producing commercial real estate investments across a wide variety of asset classes, leveraging our experience, networks, and resources to create value and above market returns for our investors. 

Our hands on approach  is combined with a motivated and driven management team with many years of real estate experience. 

At Awen Capital, our opportunities are found within our deep industry network.  By using ‘old school" hard work ethics, including driving our primary markets, talking with business owners and developing relationships with accountants, attorneys and business brokers, we find unique opportunities.

Awen Capital uses local expertise while maintaining strong executive oversight. The Company assembles, directs and supervises local, experienced teams of consultants on a project by project basis. Engineers, leasing agents, property managers, architects, entitlement experts , city officials and other consultants assist in analyzing a particular asset, performing due diligence and if appropriate, undertaking work on an ongoing basis.

 Along with the firms Principals successful real estate backgrounds and financial expertise, we have partnered with experienced Operating Partners in each of our markets. These Operating Partners have deep local knowledge and established relationships. 

At Awen Capital our principals and key executives are involved in all aspects of every project. Some of the projects require a very hands-on approach on the operational aspects such as marketing, management, financing, leasing, capital improvements, etc. Awen Capital's executive team is very well versed not only in the political environment surrounding a particular asset and its regulatory or value add opportunities but also heavily involved in owner associations, economic development corporations, chambers of commerce and other community organizations. The Company only undertakes those projects that it can meticulously manage. 

Awen Capital minimizes the risk inherent in real estate investments by acquiring core assets in high-barrier to entry markets, avoiding lease-up and construction risk, and utilizing debt at conservative levels. Additionally,  maintaining a long term view and acquiring properties that will hold their value throughout the entire real estate cycle.
